As an Associate Attorney in the Tax Controversy Department at Gordon Law, Ryan Stegenga helps clients resolve tax issues, including audits, tax debt, and more.

Ryan is a seasoned tax attorney with 8 years of experience overseeing thousands of cases against the IRS and state tax agencies. He’s saved clients millions of dollars through settlements, negotiations, penalty abatements, and audit defense and has successfully released countless tax levies on bank accounts and wages.

Prior to joining Gordon Law, Ryan served as a team lead and senior tax practitioner at a national tax defense firm. In addition to serving his own clients, he trained new attorneys and support staff on how to advocate aggressively and successfully for clients’ tax resolutions.

When he’s not in the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and working on cars.
