As an Associate Attorney in the Tax Controversy Department of Gordon Law, Jianwei Du helps taxpayers resolve audits and tax debts.

Jianwei earned her Bachelor of Laws from East China University of Political Science and Law, her Master of Laws from the University of Southern California, and her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she made the Dean’s Honor List and won the Cali Award for Legal Writing.

Licensed to practice in Illinois, New York, and China, Jianwei brings international experience from her previous role as a business attorney at a Chinese law firm. There, she assisted with contracts and litigation for mid-sized and large companies in a wide range of industries, from construction to aviation.

With a longstanding interest in United States tax law, Jianwei is excited to transition to the field of tax resolution.

Outside the office, Jianwei enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and practicing yoga.
